Introduction

This short guide try to help you in the process of migrating an organization from windows nt 4 domain to windows 2003 domain. This guide suppose that you have your hardware correctly configured and that basic prerequisites are met. The organization in this guide is called CORP, we will create one root domain corproot.ads for backup and high level administration purposes and a corp.dom domain for every days administration. The Corp organization has one subsidiary in France, so the site is called MYSITE in Active Directory for this example.

In addition, this guide has been written in order to maintain old domain during the migration step because we could imagine that Corp organization has many subsidiaries and that is not possible to migrate everyone at the same time.
