Introduction

The client/server relationship has often been considered difficult to develop for many technical reasons.

The .NET Framework offers several ways to use sockets at different levels: from the creation of the basic socket to the creation of the TCP, UDP or ICMP client and server.

This article aims at describing one of the TCP client and server creation methods  as well as underlying the key points concerning the creation and the management of the connection and the message transmission.
