Abstract

  Every company which develops its information system in a consequent way needs to standardize, and structure this one. An essential standardization in the information systems is the applications installed on the stations of the company, which can be commercial software packages or internal software. It must make corresponding the needs of the users with their applications. To manage the number licences, the coordination and the compatibility of the versions, in fact of being able to maintain in any time a homogeneous system, to allow an efficient follow-up of the applications.

  This article proposes a functional example of the management of applications integration within the national information system a great French industrial group, which will name PLS, for reasons of confidentialities. This integration of applications is under the responsibility of a team named National Applications.
