Next, setting up quantity of RAM memory which you wish to allocate in PearPC.
Must allocate a minimum of 256 Mo of memory, and if you can, try 384 Mo or even 512 Mo.

In the type of processor, leave the G3 value, which will emulate a processor PowerPC G3.
The second screen of the wizard, permit to you to setting video resolution, number of colors, and kind of CPU you wish emulate.

The value Video Redraw Rate depends partly on your configuration so test several value until finding the most adapted.
In the part PearPC Networking, specify if you want to emulate a network
card and so yes which type of card. In the majority of the cases, you
will use the Realtek type. Leave the value of the field MAC address.
Don't touch at the Additional Arguments for the moment, but nothing prevents you to play with a little more late.
Next, click on "Finish" and give a name at your configuration file and save it.
We suggest you to save in the same of the folder of your PearPC.
Now that your configuration file is created, launch your file in PearPC
Control Panel and choose "CD-Rom Device is installed" and indicate the
folder of the image of first CD of installation of Panther. Then,
double click on the icon of the configuration file which you have just
created. If a screen requires of you to choose the peripheral of boot
to be selected, chosissez CD-Rom for the moment.
At this moment, you have three posibilties :
A kernel panic
You have a kernel panic if you have specified bad settings in your
configuration file. Generally, the problem comes from one of the
parameters concerning the video or the memory. We advise you in this
case, to edit the configuration file manually and remake a test.
A configuration problem
You have a configuration problem if you have specified a bad value
during the wizard. For example, you have choose G4 instead of G3.
