Summary
At the beginning of the Voice over IP, the analagical telephony was much more outstanding than the telephony using Internet. With the expansion of Internet and the new technologies, the bandwidth has increased at the same time as the voice compression what has come to the same quality between the IP and the analogical telephony.
The aim of my report is toshow you the configuration of the VoIP gateway so that you can use the IP telephony at a lower price. The IP telephony demands even so the use of a minute operator for the calls on the traditionnal phones and the mobile phones. But this won't be described in this report.
