Thus, we could see through this article the beginnings of SLI technology of NVIDIA which evolved in Quad SLI which has 4 GPUs with its credit (2 per graphic card). Then, CrossFire technology of ATI which vainly tries to compete with Quad SLI.

By comparing these 2 last technologies, we could observe that Quad SLI appears more effective compared to CrossFire for a use on large screen such as a resolution in 2560x1600.
Knowing that generally, the users rather has a screen in 1024x768, it will be then more judicious to use alor the technology of ATI, namely CrossFire.

However, we are impatient of knowing how ATI will be able to counteract to the Quad SLI to really dominate the market… Would a Quad-CrossFire future be in preparation at ATI…?
